StatSheet now projects Denver to go to the NIT as an eight seed. The Pioneers are ranked #71 in the StatSheet StatRank with a 16-6 overall record and a 6-3 record in the Sun Belt.

During its last four games, Denver registered wins against Arkansas State and Louisiana-Monroe but also fell apart with bad losses to RPI #190 Arkansas-Little Rock and RPI #200 North Texas.

Denver is underwhelming against top competition, with a 3-3 record against the RPI Top 100 but a 2-3 record against the RPI Top 50 and a 1-0 record against AP ranked teams. While the Pioneers have two quality wins including AP #21 Saint Mary's and RPI #11 Southern Miss, they're also weighed down by three bad losses including RPI #190 Arkansas-Little Rock (2 losses) and RPI #200 North Texas.

The last four teams into the NCAA Tournament with at-large bids are NC State (15-7, 4-3 ACC, StatRank #60), Arkansas (15-6, 3-3 SEC, StatRank #50), Oregon (15-5, 6-2 Pac 12, StatRank #63), and Purdue (15-7, 5-4 Big Ten, StatRank #51).
