| Notre Dame enters the AP Top 25 at #23 this week and is one of three new teams in the poll. Murray State fell the most this week, losing seven spots to drop to #16.
Kentucky remains number one for the third week in a row. Notre Dame breaks into the Top 25 with a win at West Virginia, 55-51 and a win at home over DePaul, 84-76. Wichita State comes in at #24 with wins against then-17th ranked Creighton, 89-68 and Northern Iowa, 82-57. Gonzaga shows up at #24 with wins against Loyola Marymount, 78-59 and then-16th ranked Saint Mary's, 73-59. Creighton drops out of the Top 25 this week with an upset loss at Evansville, 65-57 and an upset loss at home to Wichita State. Mississippi State drops out after a win against Ole Miss, 70-60 and a loss to Georgia, 70-68. Harvard drops out after a win against Pennsylvania, 56-50 and a loss to Princeton, 70-62.
Murray State is a big mover this week, tumbling seven places to #16, following an upset loss at home to Tennessee State, 72-68 and a win at home over Austin Peay, 82-63. Wisconsin shot up six spots to #15 after a win against Minnesota, 68-61.
